It is with a real pleasure and a high sense of national duty that I welcome you to the official website of the International Register of Ships of Gabon.

The establishment of this digital platform reflects the will of the Government of the Gabonese Republic to make the maritime sector a major lever for the economic transformation and international influence of our country. It is also part of the mission assigned to Gabon International Ship Registry (GISR) for the management of the International Register of Ships of Gabon, with a view to promoting a modern, credible, competitive, attractive maritime flag in accordance with international standards.

This ambition is fully in line with the vision of the President of the Republic, Head of State, Head of Government His Excellency Mr. Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, who places the modernization of public action, the strengthening of national sovereignty and the enhancement of Gabon's maritime potential at the heart of the transformation of our country.

The International Register of Ships of Gabon is, in this respect, a strategic instrument of our maritime policy. Its reorganization and modernization respond to the need to strengthen the control of our pavilion, to improve its credibility and to consolidate the confidence of the operators of international shipping.

This portal also constitutes a crossroads making available to as many people as possible all information relating to the Gabonese flag, and allows the simplification and speed of procedures, their traceability, and offers users more efficient access to services related to the registration of ships at the Gabonese flag.

Through this reform, the Government intends to strengthen Gabon's position in the international maritime landscape and make its flag a real vector for the development of our blue economy, the creation of value and the influence of our country.

I invite all shipowners, maritime operators, marine professionals and institutional partners to take ownership of this platform and to accompany this dynamic of modernization and excellence.
